Olivier is also geologist, researcher at the University of Oslo. Being geologist is a real passion for him. Indeed, when he was a young boy, he already dreamed to be a geologist…or shepherd! In brief, a nature and mountain lover. Olivier worked five months in the argentinian Patagonia to understand the geology of the Tromen volcano. During his first fieldwork, he didn’t speak spanish at all, but he managed to strike up a strong friendship with Argentinians. Fascinated by the Andes and Argentina, Olivier was enough enthousiastic to convince me to choose this destination…but did not insist much on some passes altitudes.
