A geological project

A human adventure. During our expedition, we will meet the local Andean populations by asking for their hospitality. These encounters will provide an excellent opportunity to learn new cultures, life styles, and to experience the fundamental values of the human world: solidarity, generosity and hospitality. These encounters will help us gain a true perspective on the implications of geosciences for the Andean populations. Thus, we will particularly focus on meeting the people who work in mines, seismological and volcanological observatories, national parks and farms. Through our discussions, we will try to understand the relationship the Andean populations developed with their cordillera.
