A geological project

A human adventure

An educational project. During our expedition, classes in French schools and high-schools will follow us via our website. Our journey and our observations will be the base for teaching and discussions between the professors and their pupils about geography, geology, sustained development and ecology. Following our return, we will meet the associated classes and organise educational workshops and discussions with them to promote geosciences and highlight their importance in our society. In addition to the scientific aspect, we want to raise youth awareness to the fact that most of the objects we use (and discard) in every day life (e.g. metals, plastics, construction materials) come directly come from underground resources. Finally, thanks to this experience, we want to spread our enthusiasm and our passion for our profession to inspire the next generation of our Earth’s scientists.
