The educational project of the Andean Geotrail is our main goal before, during and after our expedition. We will meet the pupils in the schools before our departure in order to present the project. They will be able to follow our adventure through our blog. Finally, we will come back in the classes after the expedition in order to share the experience of our journey.

We aim to carry out this educational project to promote our discipline among pupils in primary schools, schools and high schools. Indeed, the Andean Geotrail is set up to allow young audience to discover Earth sciences from another point of view: their usefulness in the daily life, their implications for sustainable development and their role in preserving our planet.

Through this project, several points of the curricula in Earth Sciences will be discussed (the Earth, the environment). Nevertheless, it is open to other pedagogical topics, such as geography, the Spanish language, peoples and cultures of the world.
